My husband has already used them several times. Great product for the price. Product arrived in great condition. He likes the adjustability of this set. They fold nicely for storage.
However, I don't know what the weight limit is - they are plastic after all - so use some common sense.Regardless. I'm going to keep this short.I LOVE these saw horses. They're light, fold up nicely to slide out of the way, yet have proven to be strong. They have great adjustments built in, which makes it incredibly easy to set each up just the way you need.I've had a pretty hefty amount of weight on them (probably close to 300lbs), and they were solid. If you have a workshop at home, you want/need these horses. You won't regret getting them.
The saw horse came in with one piece broken off on the top part that extends out. I did not return it because it was too large. I attribute the damage to the poor packaging, and the box appeared to be too small, and the top part was exposed from the box through a hole. However, the over-all quality was excellent.
It's like having a 2nd workbench anytime you need one.Their light weight, versatility, and height adjustability combined with excellent stability and overall high quality means they'll continue to be used. Oh, did I mention I had them fully extended during the whole process.
I recently rebuilt my workbench and used these to support a 96" x 30" piece of heavy duty 3/4 inch plywood. I've owned these Stanley's for a over a year and they're a most welcome addition come project time.
Anyway, even under the additional weights I placed on top of the masonite to get a good bond, these supports remained very, very solid. I wanted a durable bench surface cheap, so I bonded an equivalent sized piece of masonite to the plywood.
I used Liquid Nails, man that stuff is great. Based on my experience, for most DIY uses at least, you'd never know these are made of plastic.Right now they're supporting another piece of plywood I've temporarily mounted a sliding miter saw on while I'm doing a bunch of cuts for a bookcase I'm building.
That's the best thing you can say about any workshop purchase.Just a great find, buy 'em and you'll never regret parting with 55 smackers this way.
Important to be able to clamp and cut lumber on the sawhorse. I have attempted to find somewhere to buy another set of v-groove attachments but no such luck. The included v-groove attacments make this partially possible. I say partially because while one can put a standard 2x4 across the top of one saw horse using the included brackets, you can't replicate this on the other sawhorse of a pair because only one set of "smart v-groove" attachments - enough for only one saw horse - is included in the twin packStanley 60622 Folding Adjustable Sawhorse Twin Pack. All US dealers I have been able to locate thru search, including Amazon, stock only the saw horse twin pack itself and not the attachments seperately (found a UK dealer that does). This greatly reduces the usefulness - otherwise would have given 5 stars.
